Hyperspectral announces Dirty Workz debut
The Swedish hardstyle producer will release “How It Feels”, featuring IRINV, on Dirty Workz on 23 October.
Hyperspectral will make his Dirty Workz debut on 23 October 2026 with “How It Feels”, featuring IRINV. For the Swedish producer, whose real name is Leo Costa Allard, the release follows years of developing a sound shaped by melancholic melodies, dramatic arrangements and the force of hardstyle.
The track starts with a personal question: what does love feel like when you can barely remember it? Allard wrote the lyrics around the uncertainty of wanting a connection while questioning whether the search is worth the emotional effort. IRINV’s vocals give voice to that longing, while the track’s harder moments express the frustration underneath it.
That balance between emotion and intensity has roots in his earliest musical experiences. Growing up in Sweden, he discovered metal and hard rock through his older brother, while Nintendo soundtracks introduced him to music’s ability to create entire imagined worlds. Seeing Headhunterz perform live at thirteen turned those influences towards hardstyle.
After initially studying physics, Allard decided to commit to music. He moved to Amsterdam in 2022, following a delay to his plans during the pandemic. A demo accepted by Scantraxx during ADE that year led to a release in 2023. He also won the Owl Talent competition in 2023, earning an opening slot at the Swedish festival.
“How It Feels” brings that journey to Dirty Workz. It is a release built around the emotional character of Hyperspectral’s music, with a story that reaches beyond the dancefloor.
