Gumbas brings live techno to Poland’s Got Talent
The performer behind Drum’n’Gumbas introduced a national television audience to electronic music created live through instruments, improvisation and audience interaction.

Gumbas brought his live electronic project Drum’n’Gumbas to Poland’s Got Talent in 2026, appearing in the casting and semi-final rounds of the programme. His performances introduced a national television audience to an approach built around playing electronic music in real time.
Synthesizers, keyboards and foot controllers are central to the setup. With several instruments under his control, the audience can follow the physical process behind the sound as the performance develops. Improvisation and interaction give each show room to move in a different direction.
The project began in October 2021, with its first public performance following in February 2022. Since then, Gumbas has developed the format through performances across Poland, including Garbicz Festival in 2024.
His musical direction brings together hard, acid and bouncy techno. The appeal is both musical and visual: the rhythms carry the room, while the instruments and the performer’s movements make the live process visible.
TVN’s coverage follows that development and documents his appearance on the show. For listeners discovering him through television, it offers an introduction to a project that has grown through experimentation, live performance and direct contact with audiences.
