Underground house with Scandinavian depth.
Story
Simon Field is an Oslo-based DJ, producer, songwriter and tastemaker whose work connects underground house culture with the warmth and atmosphere of Ibiza. Deep grooves, classic house influences and emotionally driven melodies define a sound that has earned him over 350 million streams and more than 100 releases across a career spanning more than a decade.
His music has been released on some of the biggest house labels in the world, including Sony, Ultra, Warner, Armada, Subliminal and Perfect Havoc, and his remixes include Joel Corry, MNEK, Erick Morillo, Kelis, Nina Simone, Karen Harding and Camden Cox. His tracks have also reached screens through Californication, Passengers and Netflix's Elite, and have been supported on BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, Capital FM, NRK and NRJ, with press in Mixmag, DJ Mag and Billboard Dance. DJs including David Guetta, Tiësto, Don Diablo, Claptone, Chris Stussy, Michael Bibi, Todd Terry and Benny Benassi have played his music.
In the studio, Simon reaches for analog gear — the TR-909 for groove foundation, the TB-303 for rolling bassline mutation and the Moog Sub 37 for melodic atmosphere — giving his productions a tactile, human quality. Tracks like "Danger", "Panda" and "La La La" balance club functionality with deep emotional tones.
A fixture of Oslo's underground legacy with residencies at Jæger and Skaugum, Simon is a proven ticket-mover and a master at reading the floor. His sets blend minimal, deep and classic house at 126–130 BPM, designed for rooms where people actually dance, not pose. Through his Basement Sessions concept he is also a curator and community builder, bringing together artists and audiences who believe groove, atmosphere and emotional connection matter more than spectacle.
