Cali

Cali is a Norwegian artist, songwriter and producer with Colombian roots. Born in Colombia and raised in the Oslo area, he began making music at school, started performing soon after and released his first music on Spotify at 17.

His direction, Hip Pop House, brings melodic rap and pop hooks together with the energy of house and festival music. He moves naturally between singing and rap, with a tenor register giving the songs a clear melodic character. Strong hooks carry the emotion, while rhythm and larger drops give the music a physical presence live.

His performance experience includes warming up for Hkeem, playing to an audience of more than 1,000 in Skien and a sold-out Harlem Hangout show. Alongside his own project, Cali has helped build HÆNG, a platform connecting emerging artists and creatives in Oslo.

As he develops English-language material, his music, visuals and storytelling are being brought into a connected artist world. The aim is to make every release feel part of the same identity, with the confidence, warmth and audience connection of his live performances carrying through.
